Hello! My name is Dr. Darshan Patel and I am excited to be a part of the Active Dental family. I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio before attending The Ohio State University for both my bachelors and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. After spending nearly a decade in Columbus, Ohio, I chose to move to the DFW area to be closer to my family and begin a new chapter.
I was drawn to dentistry because I believe that it combines a unique blend of aspects into one profession, including artistic creativity, compassion, and the application of evidence based scientific knowledge. I enjoy having the opportunity to provide my patients with exceptional oral health care while also building a trustful and educational rapport.
During my free time, I love to workout, golf, and stay active. Additionally, as a new Texan, I enjoy exploring the DFW area and becoming familiar with my new home. Sports are one of my biggest passions and I love to cheer on my Buckeyes and the Cowboys!
